Message Ok so a little history. I bought this car and drove it for about a month, it was running fine but I could tell it had been sitting for a while somewhere previously so I took the plenum off to replace the injectors and do a general gasket/hose replace. While I was in there I did a coolant TB bypass as well. When I put it back together it was running ultra crazy rich, like so rich it was drowning the engine and making it bog down and misfire, and so rich it was making the oil look like a chocolate milkshake.

Anyway, I am in grad school so I took it to a mechanic so I would have time to work on my thesis, he replaced pretty much every single part of the fuel system (except for injectors, which I am 95% sure is/was the problem, shipping them back today) and said "I donno man". Anyway, I picked the car up and pulled the plenum again to get the injectors out to be flow tested, buuuutt when I did I noticed that inside the PCV hoses there was a wee little bit of coolant fluid, and it smelled like coolant as well. The mechanic did a compression test and checked for blow head gaskets and said that it looked fine, compression was perfect and as far as he could tell no blown head gasket (plus it did not have one before the fuel system debacle). He also said that as far as he could tell the car was not losing coolant either.

Any suggestions? Should I worry about the coolant in the PCV hoses? I'm freaking a little about the potential for a blown head gasket, but it was checked over when it was at the shop for one so I donno.
